What I need is a person
Someone to be with me
In my home at my side
Asking what I need
And giving only what I ask
When I ask for it
But no one has ever done that
No one has listened
No one has heard my requests
I am ever offered what is good for me
According to people who aren't me
And who only ignore me
When I don't ask for it
