Goddess of the moon,
Queen of the night,
The swallowing of sickness and death;
Eagle in flight,
Jaguar on the hunt,
Lights in motion from the west;
Only death,
Merely illness,
Always the rebirth on the other side;
A beginning in darkness,
An ending in darkness,
Light and life only in the center;
A waxing crescent,
A waning crescent,
The fully glowing orb resplendent.
